In the summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the aurora borealis. There are great hiking trails and opportunities for mountain climbing nearby.

Outside, under the stars, you can enjoy a Jacuzzi for 5 people. The water is cleaned by the owner. There are several terraces with outdoor furniture, barbecue hut, woodshed, pizza oven and gas grill. In summer it is possible to rent a small boat without an engine for 30 euros.

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The home is located in idyllic Storvik, directly by the 1.5 km long Storvik beach and only 50 m from the sea. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain trips, paddling, swimming or cycling. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad, you have panoramic views of the natural elements from the inside.

Recharge your batteries at this unique and tranquil place to stay. Brand new made annex that is all up to today's standard. There is both a stove, hob, fridge, TV as well as a sofa bed. Brand new bathroom with toilet and shower. Unfortunately no public transport available but is free parking space. Here, you have everything you need, from bedding to towels. Just walk right in, relax, and enjoy yourself ☺️ There is also a campfire pan that you can enjoy using ☺️ If you are lucky, you can get a glimpse of the northern lights :)

Welcome to this great holiday home with an idyllic location on Sandhornøy. The house is located by the sea and has a fantastic sea view where you can see the Hurtigruten cruise ships pass by. The house is spread over 2 floors and has a practical floor plan and includes 4 bedrooms, storage room, attic, living room/kitchen and bathroom. Great terrace that goes around large parts of the house so you can move around following the sun.

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private hot tub right by the water and an outdoor jacuzzi (included in the price). Great hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top hikes and shorter family hikes for you.

Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft with 2 beds. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen solution with stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless network and TV. Terrace with seating area and great views. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

Cabin in Gildeskål

Bring the whole family for cozy up in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you will find ready-made beds, and everything you would need for a nice stay. There is access to beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, possibly for the perfect trip up Sandhornet (993 meters). And perhaps the host can offer you a guided boat tour at a reasonable price.

The barn in Midnattssolveien

This is a newly restored barn completed in the summer of 2023. We have taken care of as much as possible of the old, and combined it with the new. This makes the barn a completely unique place, with a soul. 1st floor consists of hallway, bathroom with toilet and shower, hobby room, two bedrooms. The 2nd floor consists of an open solution, where part is the "main hall" with a fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, and a cosy sofa section. All rooms are well equipped.
