Walking distance to the city center, Union Scene, restaurants, cinema, theatre, bowling, mini golf etc. Good hiking opportunities with light trails, good trail net and Blektjern swimming area, or Spiralen on the Bragerness side. Here you can wake up to lovely views of the fjord in a simple and peaceful apartment on the 3rd floor. Enjoy your morning coffee by the kitchen counter or on the porch with the same great view you see from the bed. Right outside the door, you can follow the walkway down to the city, jump on the bus (which also stops right outside the door and takes 12 minutes to Strømsøtorg and the train station), or you can take the path up to Nordbykollen with panoramic views from the lookout tower. The nearest grocery store is 3 minutes away by car.

Enjoy a stay with recreation and rest, away from a busy everyday life. A simple cabin with wood-burning stove, outdoor toilet and drinking water on can, with wifi and power from solar cells. The area offers lovely forest baths and miles of hiking trails. Get your pulse up in the backs - or just let your mind wander under old pine trees with a fire on the fire pit on the deck.

Lower your pulse at the top of the Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Cozy guesthouse on the edge of the forest

The guesthouse is located in idyllic green surroundings at Konnerud in Drammen. Here you will find hiking and ski trails just outside the door. In the bedroom there is a bunk bed for 2 and in the living room a double sofa bed. The unit has a small kitchenette with fridge, studio stove and kettle, as well as cups and dishes for 4 people. In the bathroom there are heating in the floor, shower and toilet. Our cat, Taco, enjoys the guesthouse. You decide if you want a visit from the cat or if the cat flap should be closed.
