Situated on the River Tornion, this cottage is a choice for fishermen and lovers of the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to do a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa Bridge.

A unique, newly renovated little cottage in the bright and fishy Kuoringa Grand Island. Here, the lake landscape and the bright Kuorinka are in the main part. The cabin has two beds as well as a pull-out couch, kitchenette, gas fridge and heater, sauna and amazing lake view towards the evening sun. Solar powered lights and cell phone charging. Transportation to the island (900 m) is handled as agreed by the host's motorboat. For those arriving on their own boat, there's a windproof pier on the island.

Main building has 2 bedrooms, modern kitchen, 2 living rooms and a bathroom. Sauna and guest house with two bedrooms are in separate buildings. Rowing boat with small motor is included. Extras: Bedlinen & towels 20e pp. Bigger motor boat 50e daily + fuel. Box of wood per two nights of stay for the first week included, extras 20e. Kayak and sup board 20e per day.

Peaceful unique place. House with all amenities. You'll have access to a lot, a wood sauna, an electric sauna, a rowing boat, and fishing gear. In the summer, you can enjoy the surrounding river by swimming, rowing, or fishing. In winter, you'll be wearing a starry sky and maybe even the Northern Lights. In winter, you can ski, walk, or snowmobile on the river ice. The sea is about 2 kilometers from the cottage. Great for staying overnight or longer stays.
