Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Our house is situated in the village of Keills just a few minutes from the Ferry Terminal at Port Askaig. The house has stunning views down the Sound of Islay towards Kintyre. Finlaggan Visitor Centre, Bunnahabhain, Caolila and Ardnahoe Distillery are all a short drive away from the house. The house is fully equipped with all you need to make it a home from home. The garden in front of the house is perfect to sit in and while away the hours in the sun.

The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ).
