Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

The EyerHof - the special vacation home in the Palatinate

The EyerHof - owned by the Eyer family for three generations - is a farmhouse over 120 years old that was completely renovated from 2019 - 2022 and now combines the special charm of a farmhouse with modern industrial style. Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

We are located on the Southern Weinstrasse, the perfect location for hiking, cycling, wine tasting and regional culinary delights. Our contemporary, newly remodeled apartment is spacious and bright with plenty of room for four guests. The large terrace is the perfect place to relax. Our beautiful courtyard welcomes you with an abundance of flowers.

Nestled in a beautiful valley in the Palatinate Forest, near the southern wine route, lies the Modenbacher Hof, a listed property whose history can be traced back to 1720. Experience the seasons with us from the fruit blossom in April to the apple harvest in October, the colorful forests in November and the quiet valley in winter for winter hiking and feeling good by the fireplace. The house offers enough space for your family reunion, small celebrations and group vacations.

The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which can be reached on a romantic path with the Rietburg cable car, the wildlife sanctuary located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful excursion destinations.

The rooms are lovingly, individually, and in some cases historically furnished, and many rooms have their own shower room. A large kitchen and a large dining room invite you to spend time together in comfort, even in bad weather. When the weather is good, you can enjoy yourself in the garden and set off on hiking tours straight from the property.

Discover the breathtaking nature and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. With four PWV huts within walking distance, varied excursions are guaranteed. Your bike will fit safely in our spacious garage and after an exciting tour it can be conveniently cleaned in our yard.

Treehouse on stilts with two bedrooms, modern bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room with fireplace. Balcony and stilted terrace overlooking Trifels Castle. The stilt houses are located about 300 m from the Jugendstilhotel Trifels and are accessible on foot via a tarred hiking trail. You can borrow a handcart from us for your luggage. We will be waiting for you at the reception desk of the Jugendstilhotel Trifels for check-in.

This awaits you with fascinating hiking trails, an incredibly impressive flora and fauna, good food and particularly fine wines of the region. Highly located, surrounded by nature, in the middle of the forest with unobstructed views, we built our log cabin from local Douglas fir. The log cabin, built from natural logs, is elevated on the edge of the forest, offering wonderful tranquility and breathtaking views of the surroundings. Ideal for families with children of all ages, groups or couples looking for a romantic getaway.
