A short walk to the marina and the renowned St Peter’s Chapel - Blossom Barn is ideally situated next to the village country park and a few doors away from the hub of the village ‘The Kings Head’. Unique, self contained lodge set high aside a historic moat abundant with ducks, wildlife & view of the Blackwater Estuary. Quaint Burnham-on-Crouch is mins away with its marina/wedding venues/seal trips, pubs/cafes/shops/cinema & Museum. Pretty Maldon is just 20 mins away. Here at The Lodge pubs/cafes are just up the road or you can relax on the decking with a glass of wine from the local vineyards. Secure gated entrance & private parking to the side grounds of the owners house. Car Essential.

Our Hideaway is a secure retreat for couples of all ages. It's situated inside our large private gated garden(no steps) Guests can relax with a drink on the patio whilst taking in the amazing garden and spectacular woodland setting. Lovely country walks. Wonderful Autumn colours. The village has 2 pubs, tea room and 3 all weather tennis courts. A small child's bed can be made available(small extra nightly cost). We are dog friendly. Sofa and full kitchen inside. We are surrounded by lovely countryside. But also only a 10 minute walk into Long Melford. Which has lots of pubs and restaurants. The lodges are our own design. You will not find anything like them in the country. Totally unique. You can fish the lake. Or swim in it.
