Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

The 1 bedroom apartment with a sofabed in the lounge is suitable for 2 adults & 2 young children or 3 adults. There are spectacular views of the Alps (Churfirsten) from all windows. Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. You have an outdoor space with table, chairs, armchairs and sun loungers. A fire ring is also available. Behind the house begins a beautiful forest for hiking.

This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire up the fireplace, cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a mass storage is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. There is a kitchen available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we will provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.
