Unique opportunity to rent this beautiful home in the heart of the Wild Atlantic way. We have put lots of love into our home and hope people enjoy it as much as we do. It's an Incredible place for families to relax & unwind together minutes from a spectacular beach. The light throughout the house is stunning in every season - we have provided photos in the different seasons so you can get a proper feel for the house & the area. All photos have been taken on an iPhone & haven't been enhanced.

Our studio apt is in the heart of Carraroe, 10 min walk will get you to the village where you'll find pubs, restaurant, shop, chemist and library, there's 4 beaches, the unique coral beach ( Tra an Doilin) is only a 3 minute drive or a scenic 20-25 minute walk ,well worth the walk, 10 min drive will get you to Ros a' mhíl (Rossaveal) port where you can get a ferry to the Aran Islands, we have high speed internet in the apt, you can catch a bus frequently to Galway city down on the main strip

Perfect house for family stays or people who want to chill out & relax. The house has stunning panoramic views of the Dún Aonghasa Fort, Connemara and the island’s rugged landscape can be seen from every window. Stunning sunset views that you will never forget! The house has been lovingly and thoughtfully completed by ourselves with modern decor & fittings throughout, ensuring that our guests have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. 50 min walk approx to Kilronan / 15 min cycle.

There are secluded beaches and lovely walks nearby. The Aran Islands are easily accessible by ferry from Rossaveal 15 minutes drive away. The Connemara Isles Golf Club is a few minutes away by car. There is a gym five minutes walk away from the house. There is a grocery shop and pub nearby.

*Bookings for next year will open on January 6th 2026* Oystercatcher Cottage is situated in a stunning seaside location enjoying panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean. It is an old cottage which has been renovated over the years while still maintaining it's rustic charm. It's located close to many beautiful beaches, in one of the most scenic spots along the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. The views from the cottage are simply breathtaking.
