It provides incredible views and is an amazing get-away-from-it-all pad, yet within an easy walk of all that Elie provides. This is the ideal spot to have a romantic break for 2. This quaint and unique place is close to Dunfermline town centre, Pittencrieff Park and a short walk to both bus and train stations for access to Edinburgh etc. Dunfermline has many historical sites including an abbey. Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has fantastic food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. Fine dining at the Boar's Head in nearby Auchtermuchty.
