The chalet consists of a spacious (24 m2) bright living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed (1.40 m x 1.90 m), bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, small entrance. Large sheltered garden, with spacious terrace at the chalet. Elevated plateau in the forest, overlooking nature. There are many cycling, hiking and MTB routes in the area.

And if you want to hike, you can walk directly into the national park Het Drents/Friese wold. Or take your (rental) bike and head out to the old idyllic Drenthe villages. And if you want to eat something, there is a snack bar and restaurant in the park.

Chalet 11, IJsvogel is located on the edge of the small-scale holiday park "de Lente van Drenthe", in a quiet spot. This fine chalet has a spacious canopy with glass sliding doors, so there is a lot of extra living space, even on a slightly less sunny day. And it has a spacious garden. Relax and unwind in this fine accommodation for 4 people.

Veenhuizen (with the colonies of Weldadigheid), Norg and Bakkeveen are accessible by bicycle.

Enjoy the beautiful, natural surroundings in this romantic Pipo wagon. Beds for up to 2 adults and a child. Hot water, kitchen/fridge, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, towels, bedding available. You walk around the corner into the (primeval) forest (Emmerdennen). To the hunebedden or the Drenthepad. Within walking/cycling distance (20 min.) from the center of Emmen and Wildlands. Holiday farm "An 't Noordende"

News: “An 't Noordende” is currently busy building a private swimming pool that our guests can also use during the high season. The 12x4 swimming pool is wonderfully heated and available from May 2026! On the edge of the Dwingelderveld is our renovated thatched farm "An 't Noordende", overlooking the Es grounds on the beautiful village of Dwingeloo. Our farm can accommodate up to 10 people. It is very suitable for families with kids. Hottub optional.

The architect-designed cottage (architect Nynke-Rixt Jukema), spread over 3 floors, is carefully decorated and offers a unique spatial experience, indoors and outdoors, due to its playful design! The cottage has 3 compact bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a Jotul wood stove, underfloor heating, a veranda and a terrace, providing comfort and privacy!

This very neat holiday park is located in Drenthe near Westerbork along the Oranjekanaal and is therefore an ideal holiday spot for hiking/biking and nature lovers. You can also visit the cities of Assen or Emmen. For the little ones, there is an animation program during the school holidays and a toddler pool with a Hunebed slide. The sandwich service at the park can ensure that you wake up in the morning with a fresh breakfast.
