Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Our area is home to an abundance of nature, from kangaroos to echidnas to wombats.

Lauri's Cottage - Secluded & Pet Friendly

Set on 5 acres of mainly native bushland, our cottage is a real retreat from the urban rat race. The cottage is well equipped with everything to make your stay enjoyable. We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

Orto One

Cooking School & regenerative permaculture farm. We run classes for 2-14. On arrival a tour of our property to visit pigs on pasture, summer berries, heritage hens, passive solar home, & kitchen gardens. We provide fresh eggs, bread, milk, coffee & seasonal herbs from our garden. Our beautiful wetland is perfect for swimming, fishing, reading a book. LGBTQI welcome! The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.
