Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer days and in garden storms. A stone's throw to the spring and marina, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor yard (check website), and the beach Sandviksanden. Hakalletrappa is right above the cabin, and gives amazing views into the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... This comfortable cabin are located in the beautiful village Kandal in Gloppen, Sogn og Fjordane. If you are looking for something special, this will be the perfect place. Here you are surrounded by high mountains, a lake, rivers and waterfalls. The area are good for trout fishing, and it's possible for the guests to rent a boat during the summer. If you like hiking, there are many great routs in the area. If you just are looking for silence and beautiful scenery, just sit down and enjoy!
