  • Shuck Off- For Oyster Lovers
Dive in to an informative oyster experience where humour dictates the script. To begin, you’ll discover the inner workings of a coastal oyster warehouse. You’ll learn the local history and be wowed by the science of how tides provide the ideal water for oysters. Then, you’ll explore our aquarium that features some of the fascinating local sea creatures. Finally, master the art of oyster shucking and gather round communal rustic tables to eat your fill of Flaggy Shore oysters along with a suitably paired glass of wine. Other things to note Our premises is a wet environment and can be quite chilly due to the seawater that is flowing through it. For this reason guests should wear warm clothing and appropriate shoes.

  • The Cliffs of Moher hike, Ireland
We will meet at my home in the countryside and have a quick chat while I issue you with any gear you need like binoculars or wetpants (essential in Ireland and especially up at the cliffs). Best be up for adventure in all weathers to get the most out of this experience. Rain wont scare us off, especially when you are kitted out. Weather conditions can change dramatically at the Cliffs. Hence, Mother Nature will dictate the route i take you on but you can expect to hike between 6 - 10 kms at a reasonably leisurely pace over secluded areas of the cliffs. We will stop at various vantage points along the way to snap pictures and take little breaks. If it is a private hike, we will hike for the distance that you want to. Just message me. We will hike more than 700ft above sea level and trek to exposed narrow cliff edge tracks where the gulls fly below you. At dizzying heights the crashing ocean below is forming sea stacks, arches and caves. The essence of this hike is to take you away from a visitor centre experience and see the cliffs from a different perspective along trails which are less crowded. There is an incredible wildness and beauty here. Its a great way to completely immerse yourself in nature. I will organise snacks for our hike, fruit, nuts, cheese etc. Our hike finishes back at my house where you've left your car.

  • Galway's legendary walking tour !
The legendary tour centers around the tale of the Lynch family. Its a fascinating tale of how Walter Lynch is accused and tried for the murder of a visiting Spaniard who was a little too interested in his beautiful wife to be...or was he ? The story ends in a dramatic climax...but you will have to take the tour for that finale ! We also look at the legend of the Claddagh ring with a tale connected to Caribbean pirates, North African slave owners and a gold ring that speaks of eternal love. Christopher Columbus makes his appearance too, looking for a new way to China, but worrying that Atlantis might stand in his way. These and other tales are woven together in a 80-90 minute walk through the city. Its taken at a gentle pace to bring in all the major places of interest and embed them into the story of our city. Other things to note Dont worry about it raining - we have plenty of places to hide out of the rain !

In this online experience, I’ll welcome you virtually into my home in Galway, Ireland. We will spend first few minutes informally chatting and getting to know each other. Then we'll gently warm up our feet. I'll talk a bit about the different styles of Irish dance and point out the characteristics of the two styles we'll be learning. Then it's time for the dancing!
