Enjoy a peaceful retreat in a comfortable and inviting suite in our mountaintop home in wine country. The basement suite is attached to our garage that you walk through to access. It's an open studio and has a relaxed feel with super soft bedding on a king sized memory foam mattress. The suite is surrounded by trees and has large windows to provide a woodsy feel near the city. Nike and Intel are close by and Cooper Mountain Vineyards is also 2 miles away. 30-40min drive to downtown Portland.

We are at the center of a hub with equal access to Hillsboro, Sherwood, Newberg and Beaverton for all of the night life and restaurants while being within a few miles of 100+ wineries. This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

Cooper Mountain Tiny Cabin

My Tiny Cabin is located on 2.3 forested acres in a rural setting close to Portland and wine country. My home is located on the same property but trees and space between the two provide privacy. A ladder leads you to the upstairs loft with a queen bed and a skylight for a view of the treetops. A futon that folds into a comfortable full sized bed is located downstairs. The kitchenette provides a microwave, small refrigerator and coffee. Step out to the deck to cook on the propane grill.

For whatever brings you through/to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away and the beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour. There are numerous hikes, from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond.
