Gorgeous unique log cabin in private woodland, situated by a pond & literally a stones throw from a stunning lake. There is phone signal & 4G but no Wifi so this place is like a retreat for you to truly unwind & relax, or use as a base for exploring the closeby stunning areas of the Yorkshire Dales & the Lake District. Two minutes from J35 off the M6 making it really easy to get to and get to other places too! There is also a beautiful canal walk straight from your log cabin to the local pub.

Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Lake towards the mountains from the privacy of the Lodge. The Lodge has a private setting within the 5 star Fallbarrow Park which offers that special break. Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. Fancy getting away from it all? Then you have found the right place. A little piece of paradise on earth with uninterrupted views of Grizedale woodland. I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick.
