Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

There is a king size bed upstairs, large wardrobe, and bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs the living room has a real fire with wood burning, oak floors, smart tv and sofa bed. Lake Loft is a self-contained room above a recently built oak garage overlooking Blagdon Lake. Set in the grounds of our home in the quiet but beautiful village of Blagdon, we are about 20 mins from Wells, 25 mins from Bristol and 45 mins from Bath, there are plenty of things to do and places to explore. The room is open plan, with a king sized bed, sofa, table and chairs and shower room. Whilst there is no kitchen, there are excellent pubs and cafes close by perfect for a relaxing break.

Harptree Hideaway is close to historic Bath, vibrant Bristol and Wells with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace. We are very close to Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. We are surrounded by fabulous pubs and places to visit e.g Chew Valley Lake, famous for its bird watching. East Harptree is a beautiful village with lovely walks and woods accessible straight from the door. The apartment is of a high standard with separate bathroom, bedroom and lounge/kitchen. It is spacious, comfortable and cosy.
