Raptor Ridge

Raptor Ridge is a unique birding and nature destination located on the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Overlooking Tambor Bay at an elevation of 1400 feet, this area offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Early morning and late afternoon bird watching is spectacular. One of the few places you might see the White Hawk and the King Vulture. Several other birding experiences and adventurous activities are near by. It's worth repeating that you will need a 4X4 car to get to Raptor Ridge.

Firefly House is a nice spot to come home to after enjoying all that Cabuya and the surrounding towns have to offer, like birding, walking, cycling, and surfing. It's a little one-room cabin in the middle of a flower and tree-filled property. Just the place to "take it easy!" If you're coming to visit the national park Cabo Blanco, don't forget that it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
