We absolutely love swaying pines! This is our 2nd time staying there. Great value for the price with too many amenities to list... from the sweet treats to the beautiful lodging and wonderful outdoor spaces. Can't say enough about how homey it felt, Rose is very responsive to all our questions and made every moment of our stay wonderful. We have already booked again for next Summer, and we can't wait to come back.

This might be the best air b and b I have stayed at. My husband and I were celebrating our birthday weekend, and we just wanted a romantic getaway for the two of us (and our pup). That’s exactly what we got. Every detail from the robes to the ready to bake goods(which are made by Rose and so delicious) to couch cover for our dog was thought of. You can tell eye for detail Rose has throughout the cabin. Even my husband, who is not really a person who gets excited about hotels/air b and b stays, was truly impressed by where we stayed. We both agree that when we go back to Old Forge, we don’t need to try to stay anywhere else. This is perfect!

We booked a weekend stay at swaying pines cabin with the intent of spending time in nature with our dogs Mylo and Ziggy. Upon arrival we had regrets. We should have made plans to stay longer. Rose, our host, put a lot of herself into our stay with some pretty amazing touches. She left us some very tasty homemade treats and put a lot of thought into creating the space. There were games for an evening in, an opportunity to paint a pumpkin and plenty of time to reconnect with that someone special. Our favorite space was the large screened in porch. It was perfect for taking in an amazing view over a cup of tea or watching our pups gleefully catch bubbles, provided by our ever thoughtful host. Leaving the cabin there were plenty of fabulous hiking trails just down the road. We visited the lean to at Gull Lake and would recommend that hike. Also, the towns of Old Forge and Boonville are nearby. In all, this was a great experience. Thank you Rose, for creating a perfect space!

Swaying Pines was the PERFECT place for a weekend getaway. My girlfriend and I had the greatest time celebrating her birthday, and I couldn’t have imagined going anywhere else. The cabin is perfectly located just 20 minutes away from Old Forge which offered us an amazing afternoon of exploring and hiking. We spent our weekend sitting by the fire, listening to music, playing Scrabble, and enjoying all of the amazing touches Rose put in to making our time in the cabin exceed our wildest dreams! We will absolutely be looking to come back!

Extremely cozy, exactly as described. There were thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and Rose went above and beyond hospitality-wise. Highly recommend for anyone in the area, I would return in a heartbeat.

We are former Airbnb owners and can say without any doubt that Rose's place is among our all-time favorites. She is a caring host, who communicates proactively. The cabin is in a great location with all the amenities you could think of, including her personal touches & treats for her guests. We loved the screened in porch and the fire pit area on the hill. Very highly recommend.

Swaying Pines exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay. Rose communicated well. The place was perfect for a romantic getaway in the Adirondacks. We would definitely recommend this quint little cabin in the woods. 😊

The Swaying Pines Cabin was so cozy and peaceful. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the space, from homemade cookie dough in the freezer to the fun board games in the cupboard. Rose provided many recommendations for local hikes and events that we really enjoyed. When our car had a flat tire on a Sunday when all of the local auto shops were closed, Rose and her husband gifted us an air pump to inflate our spare. She was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend at the cabin.
