This old cabin of our ancestors has been renovated and enlarged in respect of tradition and the charm of old stones. In the midst of fields and vineyards you will find rest and tranquility. It is 1.5 km from the village of Ménerbes classified as " one of the most beautiful villages in France". At the crossroads of the Luberon villages: Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Oppède...you will make wonderful discoveries. Every day, Provencal markets, exhibitions, walks to entertain you. Particular sites where to stroll like Isle sur Sorgues and its antique dealers, Fontaine de Vaucluse and the emergence of the Sorgues, Avignon, city of the Popes, Saint Remy de Provence and the villages of the Alpilles... House entirely reserved for the tranquility of 6 travelers. Thanks to its U-shaped architecture, each part reserves a certain independence for holidaymakers. Several dining spaces are available: Under the canine-covered trellis, in the shade of the large oak tree on the cut stone table, or in the dining room. You will have a large fully equipped main kitchen and a kitchenette/ linen with washing machine, dryer. Each room has a bathroom for more privacy. We live in Ménerbes ourselves and can provide you with all the necessary help in case of need. A mid-week visit is planned for the maintenance of the pool. Linens are included ( sheets, towels bathroom, swimming pool, kitchen linen...) Your arrival will be on Saturdays from 16:00 (4.00 PM) and departures on Saturdays until 10:00 (10.00 AM) maximum. Please leave us a mobile phone number in order to agree the times on the day of arrival. Nestled in an exceptional natural setting, the farmhouse allows you to enjoy a privileged location away from prying eyes. A few kilometers away, Luberon's most picturesque villages offer unique walks. 25 minutes from the motorway access 35/40 min from Avignon train stations 1h00 from Marseille Provence airport Board games and books, adults and children, will be at your disposal. This studio is really charming, and have a lot of cachet ! located in the heart Bonnieux at less than 5 mn walking from all amenities (restaurants, shops...), you will enjoy the "Provençal way of life" during your stay. In the bedroom, you will feel away from the modern world standing below its 400 years old arches! But you will have all the comfort of a newly renovated place with a separate entrance, your private bathroom, a wifi access, an equiped kitchen... You will enjoy having a drink and your meals outside on the terrace. Important : For those willing to rent a larger place (up to 4 pax), we also rent a duplex apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. You will find this other listing named "charming duplex apartment" in my profile. The studio is all yours. It's an independent apartment with its own private courtyard and entry door. We always do our best to help our guests and to make sure that they have all what they need during their stay : booking restaurants, providing advices and tips about the area, where to go, what to do... We are always happy to talk with them and guide them trough their journey in Provence to make it a wonderful stay. The studio is located in the heart of the Village of Bonnieux, in the foothills of the Massif du Luberon, 50 kilometers east of the mediaeval city of Avingnon. Shops, restaurants, and other amenities are within a 5-minute walk of the house. It is possible to come to Bonnieux by Bus from Marseille (Marignane International Airport), Aix en Provence (TGV Station) or Avignon (TGV Station). However, the best option is definitely to rent a car. We are close (1 hour drive) from Avignon and Aix en Provence (TGV stations), and Marseille (Marignane International Airport). Lot of our previous guests were landing in Nice (around 3h away from Bonnieux) because there is a good choice of international flights. La Cure's Cabanon (Medieval Studio B&B)

The Cabanon is a Provence stone build studio, part of the historical house called "La Cure" on the highest elevation point of Menerbes . Located on the second floor facing southwest, you'll access it using an outside stone stair from the garden on the ground floor. Old fashioned but well maintained. It offer a breathtaking view on the Luberon and a most relaxing environment for a few days of peace. Since April this year "La Cure (Historical Guesthouse)" is also available for booking on Airbnb.

Our home has about 530 sq ft containing a large living/dining/cooking room, one bedroom (with a 160x200 cm bed) and a new shower bath. There is an A/Cs in each room, which can also heat. Furthermore you will find around the house 3 terraces surrounded by a garden (approx. 5.000 sq ft) and a panoramic view. One parking spot. Very calm area.
