Newly refurbished for the 2024 season, self-catering gîte for two in rural France, offering a double bedroom, en-suite walk-in shower room, open plan living with log fire and two private patio areas. It's a wonderful situation at the head of the beautiful Gatine valley. Ideal any season for walking, cycling or simply taking time out. In the winter months you’ll be cozy with the log burner - and there are heaters if you need extra warmth in a cold snap - just ask, we’re always nearby to help.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Push the door and discover its superb chestnut dome frame, its ideal intimacy, and its atmosphere that is both country and romantic to spend an unforgettable time together. Double bed, breakfast area; kettle, coffee maker, tea and coffee available. Toilets and showers in the campsite's sanitary block, nearby. Sheets optional.

Quiet, between Gâtine and Bocage Bressuirais, we offer the cozy and charming Cabane Escale Mirador. Change of scenery guaranteed in the heart of nature. Ideally located for sightseeing trips: 1 hour from Puy du Fou and Futuroscope, 45 minutes from the Poitevin marsh, and 1.5 hours from the Charente and Vendée coasts. Horseback riding.
