Despite its name, Weighbridge cottage is a three story townhouse on Church Street in central Lyme Regis. It's close to everything, yet peaceful and tranquil. There's private off road parking right next to the front door. I have tried to include everything you need, toys and games, and beach stuff

Peaceful cottage in West Dorset - AONB

A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

Secluded hideaway, heated pool, walks, fossils

The Annex is bright, comfortable and cosy with a wood burner for winter. The public footpath crossing our garden next to the river Char links with many others - great for dog walkers. We are close to Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis – renowned for their fossil treasures. Love swimming? our freshwater pool is generally heated to a very cosy 29 - 30 degrees (warm bath temperature) and can be used from April to October With advance notice, the twin beds can be connected to form a king size bed

It has a large garden on an upper terrace with spectacular far reaching views of Charmouth & Lyme perfect for alfresco dining, firepits, stargazing & watching the sunset. It's a brilliant base for nature lovers, exploring the Jurassic Coast, beach, wild swimming, fossil hunting & walking holidays or to immerse yourself in nature & escape from daily life. A comfortable, well equipped Dorset hideaway tucked down a quiet country lane in an 18th century thatched barn surrounded by fields with a large enclosed, private garden. South facing bedroom & balcony with a lovely view. Nestles in the Marshwood Vale, just 10 mins drive to the beach and 5 mins to Bridport. Easy striking distance to Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Ideal for a weekend break or holiday for two. Please note that the Loft has a narrow internal spiral staircase ( see pictures).

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.
