A pretty 1 bedroom gîte with off road parking believed to date back to the 1730s, and situated in one of France's ‘petite cité de caractère' Nanteuil-en-Vallée. With its attractive mix of stone and half-timbered houses, Nanteuil is on the chemin de Saint Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims walk, and contains the remains of a 12th century Benedictine Abbey. The village has two restaurants, both include a bar, there is a village shop selling local produce and a weekly market on Wednesdays.

Nearby is a small supermarket, bakery, restaurant, as well as a river and several walking paths. A recreational area (tennis, basketball, pétanque) in the municipality. Activities such as canoeing, tree climbing, lake... are available in the surrounding villages (about 15 km) and you will have the opportunity to visit many beautiful small villages with their restaurant that will serve you our good Périgord products. A perfect place to put your bags down and feel at home.

Small accommodation on the edge of the village of Criteuil, with vineyards in perspective. It is with one floor, and a miller's staircase to access the bedroom (unsuitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties). Quiet place, 10 km from Barbezieux (all shops). Our cottage is located in a mill on the beautiful river La Dronne. It is a very spacious apartment (55M2) fully refurbished. A room with a river view, and a beautiful terrace overlooking it. Direct access to the river for swimming or canoeing that we make at your disposal. Attention the staircase leading to the cottage is quite narrow and steep and not suitable for people with disabilities as well as some people with mobility difficulties
