It shares its home with the owners as it sits in a corner of their garden. With peacocks (very early hooting during Spring), owls, a woodpecker, cats and dogs, there is plenty of amusement. Hillside Lodge is nestled in the village of Rostrevor, with restaurants, pubs, Kilbroney Park & the beach all within a 1 minute stroll from the front door. The lodge is a warm enticing space with a wood burning stove & spiral staircase to the bedrooms. A large garden lies to the front of the lodge great for children to play football or basketball. Set in the heart of medieval Carlingford, Co. Louth, The Baby House @ Wood Quay provides a unique and charming accommodation experience – it has the best of both worlds being right on the sea but in the heart of the village! The property comprises of an open plan ground floor of kitchen & living area with a small bathroom with shower, the whole room has floor to ceiling views of the lough. There is a LOW CEILING mezzanine floor that is accessed via a LADDER with two futon beds for 2 people.

Taylor Swift stayed with us while enjoying a low key visit to Dublin. We were delighted to have her at our home and equally thrilled she managed to avoid the attention of the media.
