The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Shaving Point Views! With water views from every window, this property is a holiday home away from home. The Space Rustic and cottage like with loads of timber, a massive kitchen, living area and bathroom. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with queen bed and bunk beds. The neighbourhood Perched on the top of Stirling Road, a stones throw from the Metung Pub, Village, Yacht Club, Shaving Point boat ramp, Back Beach and the Boardwalk. A short drive to the Metung Hot Springs.

Banool Cottage -dog friendly for guests with pets.

Banool Cottage is a small, dog friendly cottage situated in a quiet closed street . Dogs are welcome ! We love our own dogs so understand the need for guests to be able to have a fun time with theirs . The property is fully fenced , dog beds , bowls, and a kennel are supplied . This area of Metung is an elevated area partly treed with tall gums. A short walk down the hill is the boardwalk that skirts beautiful Bancroft Bay and leads you into Metung Village, (15-20 minutes).

Off-grid retreat … Dargo Viewz is a “hut” with a difference. The studio-style getaway is totally off-grid and set in a very peaceful, secluded area outside Dargo. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty.
