Beachfront Guest Cottage - Year-round Hot Tub!

Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Situated on the edge of 5 acres of forest between Acadia National Park and downtown Southwest Harbor, this cozy cabin is ideal for a weekend trip or a longer stay on beautiful Mount Desert Island. Enjoy your morning coffee on porch before heading out for a hike around Long Pond, a swim at Echo Lake, or a walk into town for the weekly Farmer’s Market, shops and restaurants - all a mile or less away! End your day around the outdoor fire pit, roasting marshmallows or enjoying an evening cocktail.

A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access!
