Knausen on Fåvang in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen

Shielded location in a residential area with walking distance to Fåvang city center. 15 min drive to Kvitfjell Alpine resort, 30 min to Vena village mountain with great ski runs and nice hiking opportunities as well as swimming opportunities both inside and outside. 10 min to Ringebu village with many shops. Cozy café and restaurant. Market in the pedestrian street every Saturday of the summer season. Just south of Downtown is Ringebu Stake Church from the 13th century, and next to it is Ringebu Priesthood with a wonderful rose garden and summer exhibition of art.

The cabin is stylishly and cozy decorated, and outside the cabin door you have unobstructed views and access to the mountain pastures on the beautiful Venabygdsfjellet. Here you have no neighbors and the hiking possibilities are many. Rondane National Park is only a couple of km away and Ringebus highest mountain, Muen (1424moh), is right next door.

Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden".
