The building was formerly used as a workshop but has been carefully refurbished with many old details saved. Here you live a stone's throw from Åminne mill and Lake Vidöstern. It is also close to other excursion destinations such as High Chaparall, Vandalorum, Store Mosse and others. The guest house is about 50 sqm.

This accommodation is a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful swimming area of Lake Vidöstern. Enjoy an early morning swim or walk on the trails in the adjacent forest. Värnamo city is 10 minutes away by car. There, a visit to the art museum Vandalorum is recommended, or the city park Apladalen. Families with children are advised to visit the amusement park High Chaparral, which is 25 minutes away, or why not the unique national park Store Mosse, which is just as close. There is an option to charge an electric car via a charging box.

The cottage is surrounded by forest, and is a stone's throw away from the lake, where you have your own jetty. The perfect place if you dream of a break from everyday life. Cold baths outside or in the lake. The food is cooked on a fire or in the outdoor kitchen. Drinking water is collected from the pump house located just behind the house. Toilet visits take place in luxury. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the cottage.

If you wish to order Neapolitan pizza directly from the pizza oven, we ask you to state this a few days before arrival.

Here, the noise level is quiet, it smells like forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it's important to protect the ecological and local environment.

Several nature reserves are also located in the nearby area. 3 km to grocery store, 15 km to shopping, 20 km to Store Mosse nature reserve.

The swimming areas Nässudden & Osudden are 5 km away, these have both docks and nice barbecue areas. Vandalorum and the fantastically beautiful Apladalen are also 5 km away. Store Mosse, High Chaparral and Hestra Mountain resort are between 20 and 45 minutes drive from the cabin.
