The Adler welcomes you from 01. September 2025! 2 years of planning and almost 3 years of construction time were needed to make the 18th century Gasthof Adler fly again. The extensive gilding cure included a core renovation of the entire building, a complete annex on the east side as well as an extension around a living floor. On the 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor, the golden eagle invites you to stay above the historic rooftops of Markdorf.

Romantic double room in the center of the old town

Our romantic double rooms are located in our historic main building with a view of the old town, as well as in the quieter rear part of the main building or in the modernized annex. There is room for all the clothes brought with you on a wardrobe or in a closet. The sink with hair dryer is located in the room, shower and toilet are located separately from the room. The temperature is regulated separately in both rooms. Rooms have a TV.

Simple single room in a listed building

Simple but charming accommodation in a village setting. First floor and 2nd floor with a total of 4 rooms that are rented individually. Suitable for cyclists. The kitchen can be shared on request and for a fee of €5 per day, with careful treatment and consideration for the other guests. The price is for the room if the bedding is removed by the guest himself.

Single room with TV (Hotel Ochsen)

Functionally furnished single rooms await you and offer comfortable accommodation for a short break or business trip to Überlingen on Lake Constance. The standard rooms are usually located to the pedestrian zone or to the courtyard of the Hotel Ochsen. Rooms with lakeview or balcony have to be enquired and booked directly at the hotel (via mail or telephone).
