With a bus stop just below the house you do not depend on a car. 10-12 minutes drive to Lillesand city center, a fantastic idyllic southern village. Along the pier edge, restaurants are in a row and row and there is something for everyone to find. From the residence it is about 20 minutes drive to Dyreparken and about 30 min drive to Kristiansand City Centre.

There you will find a bakery, grocery stores, pharmacy, etc. Birkeland is known for its fine hiking trails for the whole family. Salmon fishing in Tovdalselva is also possible during the season. It takes 20 minutes to Kristiansand Zoo by car, 14 minutes to the southern town of Lillesand and 31 minutes to Kristiansand.
