Pheasant’s Rest, cosy hideaway, dog friendly

Our caravan, disguised as a cosy cabin, nestles to the side of our garden and has been totally restyled. Self check-in and a private entrance makes it easy to social distance, with footpaths and woodland all around there is an abundance of open space. In addition to following the enhance cleaning and sanitisation protocol, we are also keeping a 1 day window before and after each booking. Secluded, dog friendly and situated in walking distance of Bucks Mills beach and the South West Coast Path.

Explore the Hartland Peninsula - the SW Coast Path is stunning here - and relax in the hot tub or by the wood-burner. This child and dog-friendly*, single-storey cottage is one of Cheristow farm cottages, clustered around the former farmyard; Guests can use the spa room with it hot tub & sauna and the children's play area, with long green views to the sea. *Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome @ £25 per dog, per stay. 1 can be included on booking, for a 2nd we'd request payment separately.

(Note: these facilities only available from Mid March to October) The park (8 miles from Bideford) is close to beaches and local attractions (by car) and is a perfect base for exploring the area. But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.

The Chalet is a self-contained wood-built cabin in the grounds of Haven View, perched on the side of the valley and overlooking the dramatic cliffs and beach of Crackington Haven.
