In the living/dining room there is also a sofa bed. The location on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and the vineyards offers many possibilities for leisure activities, e.g. hiking, climbing (sandstone), mountain biking and cycling directly from the front door, fantastic motorcycle routes, many castles and lakes, outdoor pool 300 m, thermal bath/saunas.

Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

In the heart (market square) of Landau, lies our charming townhouse, which is more than 270 years old. Elaborately restored and modernized, it serves as a retreat for our guests. Close enough to participate in the colorful hustle and bustle of the weekly market, cozy wine bars, good restaurants, quiet cafes and the many sights of the city - and yet far enough away to lose yourself in the books of our small antiquarian book selection with a good glass of wine.

The pool is particularly popular with our guests as it provides refreshment after sauna and walks. Privacy is also particularly appreciated, as both the pool and sauna and garden are available for exclusive use. The pool can be used all year round, but is not heated. A hot tub is not available.

So you can enjoy not only the special atmosphere of this historic building, but also our personal care and warm hospitality. Lovers of Northern Alsace, you will be seduced by this unique and romantic getaway. Close to Germany and tourist sites (Fort de Schoenenbourg, Maginot line, hiking trails in the Northern Vosges, ...), the house is located in an old renovated barn and has 3 bedrooms. You will love lounging in our heated indoor pool while listening to the birds sing under the magnificent cherry trees that overlook the garden.
