Feel at home in this cozy little cabin in the woods. This newly updated cabin located in the Terrace Lakes Community used to be the old Terrace Lakes Pro Shop and was converted into a cozy, quaint tiny home. With a characteristic blue roof, a fire pit in the front yard, and an outdoor dining table with a view this cabin is bound to become your favorite getaway!
“Emilies cabin is out of a storybook its charming and cozy, nestled in the woods. You have privacy and a beautiful forest scenery that you can enjoy from the deck. We are a family of 4, we have a 9 and 6 year old girls and everyone slept warm and comfortable. The cabin was very clean and for a Tiny cabin it was much more spacious then I was expecting. She has a nice fire pit outside and a wood burning stove along with wall heating inside. One morning it was about 12 degrees outside and we would of never known, we stayed so nice and warm inside. She provided everything you need including coffee and tea. It was a very lovely cabin and she also had such cozy blankets and you feel tucked in and secluded but in reality you are not to far away from the local town and store if you need anything, or a hotel that you could swim in if you wanted to. Its not a far drive to town if you want to grab some dinner out. This was a adorable peaceful place to stay and we look forward to going back one day.”
Important note: Please read the entire listing before making a reservation. The yurt has limited amenities and is not suitable for everyone. Nestled in the hills above the S. Fork of the Payette River, our secluded yurt is circled by tall pine trees, with great views and a wrap around deck. Great for star gazing! Keep to the yurt for your stay, or take advantage of nearby river access, hiking, biking, hot springs, skiing/snowshoeing, areas, the quaint town of Crouch, and USFS & BLM land.
“This is an amazing spot with amazing hosts. Truly unique. Gorgeous surroundings. The yurt was comfortable and warm, even in a full on winter storm with freezing temperatures. Neal welcomed us and made sure we got up the road okay. If you’re going in winter when there’s snow, be sure you have AWD/4WD and good tires. We definitely want to come back and enjoy the spot in warm weather as well. Highly recommend this AirBnB.”
The original train depot for the logging town of HorseshoeBend was moved to this incredible property right on the payette River. Built in 1908 this historic depot has two separate rooms available for rent on a nightly basis. Located next door to the iconic Riverside Restaurant means there is always good food nearby. Idahoans travel to this destination restaurant right on the river for the scenic view, country feel, and homey atmosphere.
“I have driven through Horseshoe Bend SO many times. This was a great opportunity to appreciate the area. Summer and her community were just what we needed! Having the restaurant next door was such a delicious and fun plus. The locals were welcoming and the food was good! We appreciated being right along the river, playing horseshoes (in Horseshoe Bend!), the short commute to the watering hole and all the hosts' hospitality. We highly recommend you consider stopping here one your way to and from, as well as, making this your final destination~”
