The house is quietly located in the middle of the forest on a clearing. Parking right outside the door. A place to relax and recharge. The bakery and local restaurants are within walking distance. Swimming lakes (Chiemsee, etc.), bike tours (BikePark Samerberg) and the mountains are right outside the door.

Dear guests, Our apartment is sunny, quiet and about 5 minutes' walk from the train station in a 30 km/h zone. It has a private parking space, a terrace with garden and magnificent mountain views. It can be rented in the low season for at least 3 nights and in the main season (Easter; from Pentecost to September 15th 15 and Christmas until January January) for at least 6 nights. Tourist tax must be paid in cash on site upon arrival. I am very excited to welcome you here :))

The fresh renovated holiday apartment is centrally located in the town of Farchant, 4km from the center of Garmisch. The train station, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Various hiking opportunities, cycling tours and cross-country ski trails are in the immediate vicinity. The Garmisch Classic & Zugspitze ski areas can be reached by car, bus or train. Close to public transport (22 min to downtown Munich or 30 min to the October festival) or 15 minutes by car to the convention center. It is our wish that you feel cosy in our place (our house is next to you) so we will try to guide and help you where possible as we traveled a lot ourself. It all depends on your kindness.

It is located in the quiet district of Buchenhain in the municipality of Baierbrunn. From here you can quickly get to Munich city or the alps. The self-contained appartement is located in the calm district Buchenhain of the community of Baierbrunn some kilometers south of Munich.

The "Waldhäusl"

Our "Waldhäusl" is a new building on a double garage and thus a self-contained cottage with a separate entrance. In June 2024, it was for the most part newly furnished. The bus stop to Andechs and Starnberg is only 100m away. By car, it's 15 minutes to Lake train station and Starnberg lake promenade. By S-Bahn train, you are in 35 minutes at the main train station in Munich.
