Alto Paraíso is on the second floor. It is a room with two beds: a bunk bed for 3 people and a double bed for 2 people, it has a private bathroom and hot water. It is very fresh and natural; with wooden floor, brick wall and toquilla straw roof. There is a mini room inside. Space for 3 car parking.
“I traveled as a family and we were very satisfied with everything the place offers. At the beginning it was not so easy to locate it, but with Michael's guidance and following the signs we arrived. It is a few meters from the main street of Ayangue, restaurants and its beach. It is quite economical for everything it offers; It is safe; It is in a fairly quiet place; there is hot water all the time; fast internet; the room as in the photos, fresh and comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need, and one of the most important things - for me - is that they accept pets. Michael welcomed us very kindly and recommended the best places to meet and eat.”
Just 2 minutes walk to the beautiful beach you can rent this room located in a safe area. The room has air conditioning, fridge, beautiful furniture handmade by local craftsmen and a big bathroom. Everything is new and fresh. You also have access to a beautiful garden with places for relaxing and socializing, barbeque, outdoorkitchen, Jacuzzi to rent, WIFI. For a low cost I make breakfast and dinner to order the day before. We also rent out a fully equipped apartment, see seperate ad Casa2.
“Charming house, great hostess Casa 2 has a room and an apt for rent. I rented the room so I had sole access to the pleasant big outdoor kitchen where I spent a lot of time. The bedroom is of medium size but a bit cramped because of 2 bunk beds, it has A/C, a TV with nothing to watch except CNN in spanish and a small fridge, there is a bigger one in the outdoor kitchen. The bedroom is on the front street, so it can be a bit noisy depending on dogs, children and parties like the carnival weekend that I was there but I slept well overall with ear plugs. The room is comfortable but the bed too soft to my taste, I nonetheless slept well. The house is very pleasant with a garden with many levels and corners to retire to, hamacs all over the place. Racks to hang your clothing to dry. My greatest pleasure there was the time I spent chatting with the charming and interesting host Catharina who is from Sweden. As for Aguabe, coming from a 16 day stay in the small paradise of Ayampe, I found it of not much interest apart to see how Equatorians enjoy their holidays ; there are very few foreigners in Aguabe. The beach is lined with tents and chairs and the bay with boats. Since it is in a bay with no waves, the sea is not very clean even at the ends. Only one « upscale » restaurant, a good peruvian one in a nearby hotel. The rest are all shacks lined up on the malecon selling the same type of food. Aguabe is good for a stop over of a day or two, not for a long stay, I stayed 3 days. It is 3,15 hours away from downtown Guayaquil by bus, easily done with a change of bus in Santa-Helena.”
Minimalistic apartment in a private and safe resort, facing a miles long beach, ideal for Paragliding, surfing, whale watching, peaceful sunsets and, for those who like electronic music and fancy dinners, it is only 20 kilometers away from Montañita. My apartment is on the fifth floor, and in 45 square meters has it all: a bedroom with closet, full bed (with twin bed underneath), living room with a sofa bed, and complete bathroom. American kitchen with several devices. Swimming pool!
“Very clean apartment with a spectacular view. It has a separate room and a small room with balcony. Elevator and parking. Very close to beaches with good food.”
