Aviemore town and shops are a 10 min stroll down a lovely quiet lane, banked by views of the mountains and the Strathspey Steam Railway. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Thistledown Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom bungalow set in a woodland cul-de-sac in the desirable Silverglades area of Aviemore. Close to cycle and walking routes and only 7 minutes walk into the town centre, it makes the perfect starting point for exploring the area. The property is furnished to a high standard and comprises an open plan living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, family bathroom, double bedroom, and twin bedroom. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!
