Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

This unique home is located in the Hohen Tauern at 1000m above sea level. Not only the architectural style is unique, but the view of huge mountains, lake, and nature is simply beautiful! On the over 3800 m2 ground there are still 2 core renovated quaint log houses that are over 200 years old and can also be rented. There is also a sauna for free use. Whether winter or summer, there are countless leisure activities within a short distance.

A wooden railing is highlighted at night, featuring a heart-shaped cutout that allows light to filter through. The rustic charm of the structure is enhanced by the warm glow emanating from behind, creating a cozy and inviting entrance.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for 2-5 people. It is located in the middle of the Mölltal, with all its sights. The Grossglockner, the Mölltal Glacier and the Mallnitz Valley are in the immediate vicinity. Lienz in East Tyrol, as well as Spittal an der Drau, can be reached in about three quarters of an hour by car. A bus stop is right in front of the house. Skiers can take the Postbus to the ski resorts for free.

A warm sleeping area features a spacious bed with soft linens, flanked by two nightstands with lamps for gentle illumination. A landscape photograph adorns the wall above, while a red rug adds a touch of color to the wooden floor.

Good public transport connection, about 700 m from the main road, train station and bus stops. The center is also within walking distance along the Gasteiner Ache in approx. 30 minutes. Ski storage is available.

The house is in a very quiet, sunny and impressive location with a view over the village of Flattach. The Mölltaler Gletscher valley station is about 8 kilometers from our house. About two kilometers away there is the ADEG Aktiv Markt, a trafik, two sports shops with rentals as well as a flower and souvenir shop as well as a cafe, a pizzeria and a bar with dining options.

A modern sleeping area features a spacious bed with light-colored bedding and decorative pillows. A bright yellow chair complements the neutral tones of the room. Mirrors and framed artwork are displayed on the walls, enhancing the overall design.
