Guest can explore Grand Island or take a sunset cruise out of Munising Bay, 5 miles west of the cabin.

We are between Marquette (25 miles) and Munising (18 miles ) , and 6 miles west of AuTrain's gorgeous Beach and the AuTrain river, where canoeing / kayaking is extremely popular. Our quiet Hiawatha Log Home is clean and neat, with plenty of parking. The view is stunning of Lake Superior and AuTrain Island. Be sure to wake early for the sunrise. This property is not on Lake Superior. A quiet road and a narrow strip of county property separate the land and water. 1 pet permitted, $90 per stay.

This historic log cottage was originally built in the first part of the 1900’s as one of the early fishing camps of Shelter Bay. Over the years there have been numerous modern improvements, but much of the rustic charm, such as the large stone fireplace and the low ceilings and exposed rafters of the second story, remain…and the character does too. The shoreline is stones and boulders which make for lots of action and adds to the aesthetics that come from the sound of lapping waves.

Our cabin is set on the beautiful AuTrain river, just minutes from Lake Superior. It is fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and fun! A full kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and a BBQ grill to cook what you would like. There is a queen size bed, and a natural gas fireplace, and full bathroom. We also have a deck to enjoy the wildlife from. Hummingbirds, Blue Heron, geese, ducks, eagles, river otters and more have all been spotted from the front porch.

This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

A "little condo in the pines" with a view of Lake Superior which is a short walk across the street. The AuTrain River empties into Lake Superior across the street, so the sand beach is beautiful & river water warm. Cottage is neat, clean, & cozy with all appliances a comfortable home would have along with privacy! I feel this is a very important feature as our guests have the whole yard to themselves.
