This historic log cottage was originally built in the first part of the 1900’s as one of the early fishing camps of Shelter Bay. Over the years there have been numerous modern improvements, but much of the rustic charm, such as the large stone fireplace and the low ceilings and exposed rafters of the second story, remain…and the character does too. The shoreline is stones and boulders which make for lots of action and adds to the aesthetics that come from the sound of lapping waves.

This cabin is one out of 8 cabins situated on 15 acres of a lake front property resort in Autrain, Michigan. All cabins are a comfortable distance from each other. Three bedroom private cabin. Full kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. Cabin is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, linens, paper towel and toilet paper. Kitchen also has coffee pot, filters, microwave, refrigerator, stove, toaster, and so much more.
