The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

A well-equipped kitchen features modern appliances and cabinetry in soft tones. A round dining table with wooden chairs is centrally placed, and a cozy seating area is visible with a small television. Natural light streams through large glass doors leading to the garden.

Suite dans une maison longère en pierre de Caen. Notre gîte n'est pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Dans un hameau du Pays d'Auge, à 2,5 kms du village, en bordure de route. La maison est entourée d'un grand terrain de 3000m2. Une grande haie entoure le terrain et isole de l'extérieur. Proche du Château de Canon à 7 kms, la mer (plage de Cabourg, Merville-Franceville, Ouistreham, ...) est à 30 min, Caen et Falaise sont rapidement accessibles. Le calme y est appréciable !
