Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free wifi, hot tub, 3 meters from water, quiet and nice, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, floor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning should be done before you check out and should be thoroughly done, for example, vacuum, dry the floors, dust the bathroom and the kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included to the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

You can relax at the place or go on Finnskog's hiking trails, cross-country skiing in the middle of summer in the ski tunnel in Torsby, about 40 minutes to 2 alpine facilities (Hovfjället and Ski Sunne), We use the cottage very myself so please let me know before booking!!! Charming little cottage in the countryside with walking distance to the swimming area in Sirsjön. Here, there are all the possibilities to have an active vacation or just relax and enjoy the tranquility. It is 4 km to Torsby town and only 5 minutes' drive to Torsby Ski Tunnel and Sports Center. Directly outside the cottage, there are opportunities for biking, hiking or running. For those interested in golf, it is 4 km to Torsby's golf course. In winter, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.

Fantastic year-round cottage with lake views

The house overlooks the lake upper brocken. There's water on both sides of the house. It's a year-round cabin with heating cables on every floor. There are three bedrooms, 2 toilets, shower and sauna. The living room is high ceilings with kitchen and fireplace. The porch goes all around the house, so you can follow the sun and barbecue outside. At the campsite you can rent canoe, swimming,fishing or biking. In the autumn, mushrooms and berries can be picked. In winter there is ice fishing, snow scooter leads and skiing.

A hot tub is positioned outdoors, surrounded by vibrant flowers. Sunlight filters through trees, creating a soft glow over the water. The serene landscape features gentle hills in the background, while grasses sway in the light breeze.

The cottage is located with a lake view of the lake velen with only 10 minutes from Torsby city center. Some amusements located nearby are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round. If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan is recommended up on the mountain, to see the beautiful nature. With the beachfront location to Lake Velen, there are nice opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Boat available to hire.

Lägenheten är belägen vid foten av Hovfjället. Med bil är det 8 minuters färd till Hovfjällets skidlift, en mängd skyltade och gudomligt vackra vandringsstigar. Finns även en roddbåt att låna. Omgivningen är känd för att bjuda på en rik tillgång på bär och svamp. Vintertid finns rika möjligheter för längdskidåkning och isfiske.

Newly made beds and cleaning are included. Private beach with access to rowing boat, canoe and SUP. Bicycles are also available. Possibility of a wood-fired sauna with ice bath right by the lake for a low cost. Torsby skitunnel just 5 min away. Wintertime ski trails just around the corner if snow.

The house has a large porch and nice plot that extends around the house and into the Värmland forest. A short bike ride away you will find a grocery store, pizza place and gas station (about 3 km).
