An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

Everything you need is just a 5-minute walk away: Parking, bus stop, bakery, drugstore, grocery stores, Migros, kiosk, post office, restaurants, cafés, and hairdressers.

Centrally located, everything important can be reached within minutes. Good connection to traffic and public transport with nearby bus stop, yet very quiet. On foot you are in 10 minutes in the center of Ascona. The additional fees include the mandatory tourist taxes. Please be sure to follow the check-in instructions via the app or Airbnb website, all info incl. pictures can be found there. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces on the premises, but paid public blue zones are nearby.

The apartment accommodates 3 people, and an additional bed can be added if needed. My apartment belongs to Ronco and has a magnificent view over Lake Maggiore. Distance to the village of Ronco: 10 minutes on foot. The "Cimitero" (cemetery) bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance. Ronco (353 m above sea level) has 700 inhabitants and 4 restaurants. Distance to Ascona: 15 minutes by car. The apartment was completed in 2016. It is small (28 square meters) but nice (all new high-quality equipment). This apartment is a non-smoking apartment.
