Hilltop Cabin

Come and stay at my unique getaway. Mezzanine with double mattress, also day bed extending to kingsize. Gas heating and cooker. Fully self contained. Children welcome but must be supervised when using the mezzanine. Pets welcome. Hilltop Cabin and Hilltop Lodge can be booked individually or together to provide unique family space. Six miles from Belfast & Bangor, five miles from Newtownards and four miles from Holywood & Dundonald. Set in a beautiful rural location with views to Scotland.

Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and green fields, this rural retreat also offers an abundance of local wildlife to enjoy. It is a modern log cabin with secure private parking which is based in the grounds of our home. A beautiful log cabin set at the foot of the Mourne mountains, perfect for couples looking to escape all the hustle and bustle. Your accommodation has that open plan alpine feel with a wood burning stove. (Fuel not supplied, please note this is a wood burning stove only). There is also oil fired central heating. Fully fitted kitchen and in very close proximity to Newcastle's town center. Also on the doorstep of Donard Park and Tollymore forest Park, world famous for the "Game of Thrones".

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.
