Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. It is located behind our house in the back garden but your privacy is always respected. Ideally located in the picturesque town of Boyle with only a 3 minute walk from shops, restaurants and friendly local pubs. Located 5km from the stunning Lough Key Forest Park facility. Boyle has many attractions like the Abbey and King House.

The Nurseries is c200 years old and was once the home of the head gardener to the Rockingham Estate. It was later owned by the McGahern family and is referred to in some of John McGahern's writings. A historical home, with modern comforts and a welcome for all guests. Set in mature grounds and surrounded by trees brought from far away lands to adorn the Rockingham estate.

It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING
