Uzunberki Kuckó and Wine House, Balaton Uplands

Kuckó is located in the Balaton Uplands, directly on the Blue Tour, in a picturesque environment, in an area surrounded by grapes, on the upper floor of our small Family Wine House, which makes its "nature" wines from its own-grown grapes (a clearer in the fridge). There are many sights, beaches, and hiking opportunities in the area. We have preserved the old buildings: the residential house and the barn have been reborn as a modern, comfortable, refined guest house. Living room with a sofa bed, where + 1 person can fit comfortably. Reading corner, kitchen, dining table. Large double bedroom. Modern bathroom. The old barn has become an apartment with a private bathroom. Covered terrace, dining set, barbecue.

Bán house in Barabásszeg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.

Our house offers a quiet retreat in the middle of orchards, vines, and fields, where you don't have to give up on modern and clean comfort. The landscape shows a different face in every season, the house can be booked all year round. If you just want silence, you don't have to move out, the sun goes around the building, it's impossible to enjoy the beauty of the neighborhood and the view. Small cottage with big garden and traditional wood burning tile stove for 1-3 people by the woods in the heart of Balaton Uplands NP, in a secluded tiny village, 15 kms from Balaton and the thermal lake of Hévíz. Hiking trails start a couple of steps away, ideal also for biketours. On a min. 2 day prior notice dinner/breakfast basket available. Pls note that a local tourism tax of HUF 700/pers/day is payable at site.

Have fun with the whole family at our homey and comfortable, recently renovated place. It is designed and equipped to make your stay the least burdensome and to have a cozy feel like home experience. Please note that the fireplace is only for decoration there is central heating in the house. The pool is in operation only between June to end of September. All the rooms have air conditioning!
