Just a 5 minute walk to the 2 mile long beach, pubs & cafes, along with easy access to the South West Coast Path. Private parking space for one car. Two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, en-suite and sea views, the other a twin, with separate bathroom. The living room has stunning sea views, as well as a smart TV. Fast wi-fi throughout. The kitchen diner is well equipped.

Welcome to Northam Nook, my beautiful cottage set in the centre of the coastal village of Northam. A mile from Westward Ho! with sandy beach. Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pub and restaurant, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. West Quay House offers stunning uninterrupted views across the ever changing seascape of the rivers Taw and Torridge estuary as they meet the Atlantic. The view is dynamic as the tide rises and falls bringing the sea to within 2m of the house at high tide and revealing the estuary rocks and sands at low tide.

Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

Number 20 Nautilus is a duplex apartment in a luxury development of 28 contemporary apartments adjacent to a magnificent sandy beach at Westward Ho! This holiday apartment is owned by the architect Guy Greenfield. In 2005 the building won the only Royal Institute of British Architects annual award for architecture in Devon and Cornwall. It has been featured in numerous publications. The apartment has three balconies, so you can enjoy the sea view, sunshine and sunsets.

A contemporary open-plan living area showcases a light-colored corner sofa, comfortably seating four. A wooden coffee table sits at the center atop a neutral rug. Natural light filters through the window, adorned with textured curtains, while a small fireplace adds warmth to the space.
