The place is close to the refreshing waters of a clear mountain lake in the Austrian alps, ideal for swimming, sailing, hiking, down-hill and cross-country skiing, skydiving, mountain biking, and so much more. Salzburg is just an hour away, Vienna and Munich close enough for a day trip. The apartment is just steps from the lake, spacious and sun-filled with an open-floor living area, a large quiet bedroom and a sunny terrace and front yard. A great place for families, couples and solo travelers.

In the Alpenglühn, just a 5-minute walk from the salt mine, spacious apartments with 44 - 61 sqm await you, for two - four guests with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable height beds, sofa beds, large bathrooms and beautiful views. Our sauna area and our parlor are located in the basement. In the garden you will find a heated pool from April to October and a whirlpool all year round. Our chalet was renovated in January 2019! Our grandparents already hosted so many happy guests. We now designed it new, bright and friendly. Enjoy the chalet's prime location with spectacular views over the Gastein Valley and its surrounding mountains. Ski lift, public thermal pool and restaurants are in short walking distance. Trail-heads start right behind the chalet - a mountain paradise.
