The outdoor house at Snöberget

Friluftshuset at Snöberget is located at the foot of the Snöberget Nature Reserve and right by the Råneå River. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Lapland landscape just outside the house, while also having easy access to activities such as hiking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and swimming in the summer. This house is also perfect for viewing the northern lights. In addition, we have a very nice barbecue area in the yard, which guests are more than welcome to use.

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.

Our peaceful holiday home in Swedish Lapland is perfect for nature lovers, Northern Lights enthusiasts, and sled dog adventures. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s located in a remote area of Överkalix, near a large lake. The town center and its shops are just a five-minute drive away. The house is fully equipped and includes snowshoes, sleds, games, a barbecue hut (Grillkota), and a sauna.
