Our unique home has been designed and built with love for time well spent in Arugam Bay. There are 3 outdoor living areas, 1 indoor living, kitchen, laundry, bathroom. This two story beach abode commands fabulous views of the Indian Ocean, and the estuary with scrub jungle and rock outcrops as its backdrop. Our mantra is beauty and comfort, with priority given to protecting our natural surrounds. The bungalow is built in as eco friendly manner as possible, with drift wood floors upstairs, walls painted in termite mud and polished cement floors downstairs. Water is drawn from our well, and we use solar panels to supplement the electricity from the mains.

This peaceful private beach house allows you to sleep with the sound of the wind and the waves and still access the fun and excitement of Arugam's main street, 5 minutes down the road. A private internet connection, air conditioner, refrigerator, stove, and rent-able scooter allow guests to have a more independent vacation than they would in a hotel. We highly recommend a nightly sunset walk (@6:15pm) down the relatively deserted beach to the top of Crocodile Rock.
