Cozy and spacious house that has been recently upgraded. Quiet location in great surroundings with many opportunities for hiking, outdoor activities, hunting and fishing nearby. The house belongs to the older courtyard with two residences where one unit is occupied by the landlord. Practical house with good floor plan. Toilet, kitchen, dining room and living room on the 1st floor. Four bedrooms and bathroom on the 2nd floor. 3 TVs and internet. Access to a grease stand for skiing during winter stays. Plenty of parking space. In addition, access to cozy seats upon agreement.

The cabin is 700 m above sea level and was built in 1977, but has been refurbished several times. It has a year-round trail and is located in the immediate vicinity of the driven ski slopes towards Tronfjell or to Tynset center. The cabin is located in the heart of a cabin field, unobserved, and in the immediate vicinity of the mountain, pristine forest, open spaces, and several small lakes. It is ideal for cycling, skiing and carrying trips. In addition, the municipality's official bathing area is just one kilometre away with a beach, barbecue and volleyball court.

Cozy cabin with fireplace and view.

Good views, all the way towards Rondane, good hiking opportunities for both hikes in the mountains, bike trips and running trips. Well marked trails and ski trails right outside the cabin. In the summer there is a nice sandy beach with possibilities for swimming, if there is bad weather the spa and pool department at Savalen high mountain hotel can be used. Here you can also have a better dinner, or buy an ice cream. Nice alpine slope five minutes by car. Horse center nearby with opportunities for riding lessons and sleigh speed.

The cabin is also a good starting point for hiking by foot or by skis, biking and horseback riding. The cabin is located just above Savalsjøen where you can paddle, swim and fish. Welcome to Storrøsta! This is a refurbished farmhouse, originally built in 1937. It's located off the beaten track in the middle of nature. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal center, and there is a short way to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored 19th century Ostrodal living room and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juicer and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of €30 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.
