Engeløya Steigen. The good holiday life.

The cabin has a particularly good view of Lofotveggen, Vestfjorden, Bøsanden, Mjeldberget mountain and Bøbygda. Engeløya is a pearl located located in the northern coastal nature. A vibrant cultural landscape. The cottage is located in one of the best agricultural areas in Northern Norway. The roads and trails and nature in the mountains and along the coast and in the village here are suitable for nice walks. On the bike and on foot. Or kayaking. Here is a good basis for nature experiences, outdoor experiences, and relaxation. Welcome to a nice vacation.

Skiing right outside the door. Stunning views of the Swelling Flakes and the Lofoten Mountains. Chalk white beaches, turquoise water, fine mountain areas and the Northern Lights. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/ houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea , the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.

Tilbake til gamle dager. Nostalgisk og fredelig lite sommerhus med enkel standard. Stue m. kjøkkenkrok + ekstra stue i tilhørende rom med utsikt. 1 soverom i 2.etg. Oppvasken gjøres på "gammelmåten" i en balje, og vann må hentes fra badet. Ikke wifi eller tv. Finn roen og nyt utsikten. Fine turområder, strand og bålplasser i nærheten. Gjestene vasker selv etter seg, gebyr tilkommer på stedet dersom det ikke blir gjort rent.

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with children.

Comfortable and well equipped cabin in beautiful and quiet surroundings. The cabin is located close to the sea. Here you can relax and enjoy the view, go hiking or test your luck at fishing. Great as a base for trips around Lofoten. Approx. 10 km to Leknes Trade Center and 4 km to Gravdal. Laundry is not included in the price.
